WHAT IS ARCADIA
MUSIC SCHOOL OF ROCK?
Arcadia Music School of Rock teaches young
musicians how to be in a band. Rockers-in-training learn
important life skills - like how to work together, improvise,
prepare new material, and perform in front of an audience
- all while learning classic and modern rock that will
make them better musicians. It's a great way to meet
other young people interested in rock music, and to
learn how to jam in a structured environment.
In addition to our already highly regarded music programs
we have an intensive school of rock program for those
ROCKERS wishing to study Rock n Roll. The program includes
full access to the state of the art equipment for all
participating guitarists, drummers, singers and bass
players.
We offer a challenging musical experience geared to
the needs of musicians from ages 9 years and older.
The program is designed to accommodate and challenge
players ranging from the most talented and proficient
to less experienced musicians. Auditions will help faculty
members place students in the band and workshop that
best meets their needs by the end of the 20 week program
you will produce your own song recorded on a CD.
We encourage existing bands to come and benefit from
the AMSoR experience.
Our school of rock will provide education in music theory
while rehearsing and recording the student’s favorite
jams. Workshops with instruments, production software,
ear training, technique, and ROCKING will guide our
students through a charged, fun, and productive 20 weeks
of 1.5 hours sessions. |
