Policies and Procedures
Application Policies
  • Registrations may not be withdrawn once submitted for Musicfest.
  • Please note that parents cannot request times for their sons or daughters to perform.
  • Conflicts will be observed at the time of scheduling, however competition times outside of conflicting dates are not guaranteed.
  • Students will be competing during an allotted time slot (approximately 1.5 hours)
  • Once registered for a specific category, students may not change from one category/instrument to another.
  • The Musicfest Committee will make reasonable efforts to accommodate special needs requests, however they cannot be guaranteed.
  • Students will be charged a $15 late fee for registrations submitted after the deadline date.
Refund Policies
  • No refunds are granted to students who fail to appear for their scheduled competition.
  • Students who register for Musicfest and are subsequently unable to attend will not be eligible for a refund except for medical emergencies.
  • In case the Musicfest Committee is unable to schedule a student because of a date conflict marked at the time of registration, Arcadia reserves the right to issue a refund.
  • For medical emergencies, candidates must submit a doctor’s letter/certificate, on official letterhead, signed and dated by the doctor.
