Baritone Robert Longo was named “the perfect leading man” in Opera Canada Magazine for the title character in Toronto Operetta Theatre’s The Chocolate Soldier. Robert has an extensive performing career singing everything from Mozart to Musical Theatre. Bob made his film debut as the singing Wiseman in the TV Feature Comfort and Joy. He played the role of Dr. Craven in the 1000 Island’s Playhouse Production of The Secret Garden, the role of Javert on the U.S. National tour of Les Miserables, and the role of the Beast in the Toronto production of Disney's Beauty and the Beast. Robert Longo has served on the faculty of New York University’s CAP 21, was adjunct professor of voice at William Patterson University and is currently the Music Department Coordinator at Toronto’s Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts. He continues to teach at RAPA and is a Vocal Music Teacher with the Toronto Catholic District School Board.
